Key Point: Multiples can easily be found by skip counting.

Multiples are the answers you get when you multiply two whole numbers. In the problem 5 times 3, 15 is considered a multiple of both the 3 and the 5. A quick way to find the multiples of any number is to simply skip count, starting with that number. For example, if you wanted to find the first ten multiples of 3, you would start with 3 and then count, adding 3 each time. All the numbers you say when you count by 3 are multiples of 3. The same rule works with the 5. Start at 5 and skip count, adding 5 each time. All the numbers you say in this case are considered multiples of 5. Remember, multiples can be found by multiplying two numbers together, or simply skip counting.
